Tai Mo Shan is the highest peak in Hong Kong, with an approximate height of 957 m. It is also one of the rainiest places in Hong Kong; research has estimated more than 25% -30% more rainfall than other places in Hong Kong.

Tai Mo Shan Road, and Look Out

The Tai Mo Shan Road is one of the popular routes within this area for most things. Once you go up the freeway road about 1.5 km away, you can see the Tai Mo Shan Lookout; from there, you can see the complete decent view of Hong Kong and skyscrapers.

Tai Mo Shan Country park Visitor Centre:

It opens from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm on other days, and close on Tuesday (except public holiday).

It has an exhibition gallery and activity center, it is encouraged to self-learning activities for the general public. The main purpose of this center is for public awareness of nature conservation, other natural resources, and country parks.

The center has a car park, Toilet facilities, including small tuckshops for a drink and snacks. Also, from there, you start hiking uphill and reach another part of the Tai Mo Shan Road.

How to Get Tai Mo Shan:

The best way to get there, take the KMB bus no: 51 from Nina Tower, and get off Tai Mo  Shan country park, alternately can take a taxi from Tsuen wan it takes about 15 minutes to reach there.

After you reach Tai Mo Shan Road and start uphill, the road, the rotary park, is almost a starting point, don’t forget to visit and click some snaps. You can see some parts of the city from there. Hong Kong is such a beautiful city. You can find many public parks, from tiny size to significant size like a country park

It is one of the best Barbeque places because of its height, fresh air, no pollution, lots of hiking options, Nice city view, and walk light inclination at the Tai Mo Shan Road. Hong Kong is such a great place you can find BBQ and picnic sport almost every corner, all Hong Kong sea beaches, the one I highly recommend is Gold Coast Beach and Tuen Mun Butterfly beach for the BBQ and the picnic.
