Travel to another country:

Hong Kong has a strong economy; they prefer to travel overseas for long holidays. For medium holidays they like to travel to East Asian countries like China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore, Taiwan, etc. HK tourists are big spender, so most of the hotels provide reasonable offers which are coming from Hong Kong. I often use the same facilities while traveling to Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, etc.

Barbeque for short Holidays:

Go for the Barbeque, another very popular to go short holiday – especially with friends and family. If a question comes, what to do? Ok, BBQ is the answer. Buy some stuff from the supermarket BBQ meat, metal hook, coal, ignition, weaker, tissue paper, drink as your choice, water, and drive to the venue or take Bus, Taxi, or MTR to reach the anywhere suitable place. There are hundreds, even thousands, of BBQ pits with water and toilet facilities.
Tai Tong BBQ, Gold Coast, Tai Mo Shan, and Tuen Mun are popular places for small or large participants.

Hiking uphill during free time:

Hiking is another very popular that Hong Kong people adopt during the holiday. People prefer healthy points of view or fun points of view. I have seen many mid-aged people also choosing the same. Some of the hiking trials are. Tai Mo Shan, Peak, Gold Coast to Tuen Mun, Tai Lam country park, Tai Tong, Tin Shui Wai Hiking, and these are available everywhere even though no names are available.

Window shopping street and department store:

For the single-day holiday, window shopping is the best time pass for Honkongers; they go alone or with family and see different things in a shop and back home without buying anything because this is an everyday routine. This usually is Saturday and Sunday weekend holiday; for the long holiday, they may make another plan to travel. There are excellent shopping malls.

Go to Restaurants for family and friends.

Going to restaurants is another way of spending time during the holiday or any other day. Friend circles enjoy drinks somewhere in Bar and family in restaurants are the popular way to enjoy. Hong Kong has many different styles of foods, Cantonese tastes, Chinese tastes of other provinces’ specialties, western, south Asian, Vietnamese, and Thai are available and very popular here. Try Ozone bar at ICC, rooftop restaurants at IFC, and Elements. Also, find various Tim sum in Hk, Kowloon, and NT; I prefer to try Yat Yat place, which I tried Tin Shui Wai Woo+ plaza, also connected to the Harbour plaza resort city hotel.

Go to the various beaches in Hong Kong:

Hong Kong’s landmarks have different shapes, like a hill and smooth plane area sea side; many beaches are available to enjoy, like Discovery bay, Cheung Chau, clear water bay, Gold coast, Tuen Mun beach, clear water bay, Stanley, and much more.

Visit Nearby shopping mall

Just spending a couple of hours entering a shopping mall with aircon cool is the best way to spend the daytime. Taking a coffee or reaching for any meal would significantly spend even more time. Some shopping malls with kids’ play areas are set up at the mall, which is an excellent way to spend time with kids. IFC tower shopping Mall, Times’ square, woo+ Tin shui wai, elements, and much more.

Visit Nearby Park:

Hong Kong with full of parks on every corner, like a society, and buildings ( even they make it even possible small space). Spending time at the park is the best way to spend time because it has everything like a toilet, water facilities, kids’ play area, adult exercise corner, walking path, benches, and shelters to protect in case there is rain.

Cycling on the bicycle path:

The cycling path setup is mainly in the new territory area because of the spacious area the same thing is not possible in Kowloon and Hong Kong side; it’s compact, and various commercial and residential skyscrapers are set up, not extra space. The cycle concept for exercise perhaps came later than they made the town plan for Kowloon and Hong Kong side. Tai Po Waterfront Park best for the cycling and also many other things to look. including lookout tower, Tolo Harbour,

NT areas like Tin Shui wai, Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, and Sheung Shui are many more cycle lanes suitable for exercise, plus go and place to other places too. Riding bicycles out of the cycle track is not appropriate according to Hong Kong law. In many places, I saw people overlooking and riding in the park and walking the path as well.
